Leeds United are busy working on more signings but one of the six confirmed by the club is Largie Ramazani, and Daniel Farke discussed the £10m signing in Thursday’s press conference.
Ramazani, 23, joined the club as Leeds‘ fifth summer signing after Georginio Rutter’s exit with Leeds opting to spend £10m on the Belgium U21 star. He has put pen to paper on a contract until June 2028.
Among Leeds fans and those of a Leeds persuasion, Ramazani is seen as a replacement for Crysencio Summerville. The Dutch star joined West Ham after winning The Championship Player of the Season.
He could make his first start for Leeds on Saturday when Leeds play host to Hull City at Elland Road, as Farke eyes a second Championship win of the season with the transfer window ending on Friday.

Farke says Ramazani is already being treated ‘unfairly’ at Leeds
The Leeds boss made it clear in Thursday’s press conference, broadcasted on Leeds’ YouTube, that the new signing cannot be seen as a replacement for Summerville despite the similarities between the duo.
At least, not to begin with. Summerville had a hand in 31 goals last season and while Ramazani is seen as an exciting signing, he is going to struggle to reach that figure and Farke is keen not to apply pressure.
“Right now he’s judged as the replacement for Summerville. But he’s not, I don’t want to put too much pressure on his small shoulders. He’s a player that hasn’t played one game at senior level in England.
“The last three years he’s played in a different country. It will be a while before he’s ready for the physical demands, the intensity of the championship. He’s important for the medium and long-term future.
“A great human being, really important, but unfair to call him a replacement for our top players that have gone. Rutter took half a season to adapt. I just don’t want to put too much pressure on his shoulders.”
Ramazani could now be in line to start on the weekend
Farke also confirmed in his press conference that Dan James has picked up an injury that will see the speed machine miss out on Wales’ fixtures in September, under new Wales manager Craig Bellamy.
It leaves Leeds with Brenden Aaronson likely to continue in the no.10 role, Wilfried Gnonto from one side and either Manor Solomon or Ramazani from the other. Solomon has not played much football of late.
The Israel star only joined on Tuesday and preference is likely to be given to Ramazani on the other flank to replace James, unless Farke prefers to use Joel Piroe in the 10 role and play Aaronson out wide.
