Leeds United face bogey team QPR in their final Championship game before the March international break.
At this stage of the season, and in what is panning out to be a fierce three-horse race for the Championship title, every game counts, and especially so for Leeds United who’ve had some mixed results of late.
In their last three games they’ve won one, drawn one, and lost one, returning to winning wins after beating Millwall 2-0 in midweek following on from their defeat at Portsmouth last weekend.
Daniel Farke’s side have reopened up a two point lead at the top of the Championship table after Sheffield United were held to a 1-1 draw by Bristol City in midweek. On Sunday the Blades take on Sheffield Wednesday whilst 3rd place Burnley play away at Swansea City on Saturday.
QPR have lost their last four games going into this weekend, losing 2-1 at Middlesbrough in the week. But the R’s have won their last four home games against Leeds, last beating them 4-0 towards the end of last season.

Leeds United team news vs QPR with Joe Rothwell facing late check
After the game against Millwall, it was revealed that Man of the Match Joe Rothwell had a stiff knee but that Farke wanted him on the pitch for as long as possible, which prompted a divided response from Leeds supporters who want to see much more of the on loan Bournemouth man.
But speaking ahead of the weekend, Farke said everyone is fit to face QPR, suggesting that Rothwell has no injury concern. Isaac Schmidt missed out against Millwall through illness but looks set to return to the side.
The likes of Patrick Bamford, Ethan Ampadu, and Max Wober remain sidelined for the Whites.
Leeds United predicted lineup to face QPR
Given the fact that this is the last game before the international break, Farke may opt to make no changes to the side that beat Millwall, knowing that any tired players will be getting a two week break straight after.
But the Millwall performance was far from perfect. There’s perhaps one major change that Farke may consider, with Ilia Gruev bound to come into the XI if Rothwell is unfit to feature from the start. If Rothwell is OK, though, he surely starts.
Other than that, there’s not a lot of debate about who starts. Farke has known his strongest Leeds XI for some time now and with no new fitness concerns, expect him to field the same XI as he did against Millwall, Rothwell providing.
