Daniel Farke has made some questionable decisions in his time at Leeds United but this one has really been taken as a bizarre move.
Leeds are now at the stage of the season where decisions need to be spot-on, but Farke isn’t helping matters.
The Whites boss will call all the shots, which has proven to be a success judging by Leeds’ status in the Championship at the moment.
Despite this, it seems like the Leeds manager is getting the best out of his players, as Farke hailed Aaronson’s performance against Millwall.
Well, it’s good to see Aaronson finally having a strong performance, but Joe Rothwell has suffered, and Farke’s decision may come back to bite him.

Leeds United fans furious at Daniel Farke’s Joe Rothwell decision
Even though it was a good response from the Whites, it didn’t stop the Leeds faithful from picking out some negatives.
Pascal Struijk raved about Rothwell’s performance, but his brilliant display may have gone on a little longer than anticipated.
Leeds journalist Adam Pope revealed on X that Farke wanted Rothwell on as long as possible, with the midfielder playing 87 minutes even after a packed schedule.
This lead to the 30-year-old having a stiff knee, which could make him a doubt ahead of QPR.
Leeds fans haven’t taken the news well and have come out all guns blazing on Farke’s decision-making.
@ConnorMOT92 said: “More ridiculous not making subs earlier then. #LUFC”
@charlields9 simply stated: “What a daft decision.”
@Samuel_JMurray claimed, “Poor management is not making earlier subs.”
@Ldot_7 fumed, saying: “Idiotic decision. Subs far too late.. again!!”
@LUFC_Ando ranted: “Why would you risk him? What is the point in having a strong bench? I know he hit the 50 record today, but his use of subs is very strange.”

Ilia Gruev could start over Rothwell in Leeds vs QPR
As mentioned, Rothwell has been integral to Leeds’ plans this season, and losing him ahead of the QPR game could prove to be a costly error from Farke.
His impact has been proven a success, as Leeds fans have been seriously impressed with Rothwell.
Someone who hasn’t been as impressive is Ilia Gruev.
The Bulgarian midfielder is no doubt a strong squad option, but Gruev has had stinkers at times for Leeds.
Farke’s seemingly stubborn nature to keep Rothwell on could be a costly mistake, and Leeds fans will certainly hold it against him, judging by the reaction.
