Leeds United have a whole host of in-form players following Saturday’s win over Wolves but arguably the most in-form player of the entire squad is yet to actually play for Daniel Farke’s senior side.
Ethan Ampadu has been excellent at the base of the midfield despite an injury in the win against Everton, Karl Darlow has come in and been superb, while Gabriel Gudmundsson has been excellent on the left.
Anton Stach was in Alan Shearer’s TOTW after a goal and an assist, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor opened their accounts at Wolves. Stach thinks Calvert-Lewin could get a shock England call-up.
Plenty of impressive players in Daniel Farke’s senior side, then. But in terms of numbers, Harry Gray is the club’s most in-form player at the moment, with seven goals and two assists in just six games for the 21s.

Leeds United drop Harry Gray hint with Bournemouth next up
Still only 16, Gray was on the bench for Leeds on Saturday at Wolves and while he remained an unused substitute, Farke clearly thinks Gray can offer something in the Premier League, even at this age.
Farke actually discussed Gray’s possible Premier League game time last week, suggesting he needs time to train with the first team before making him a sub. On Monday, the 21s were beaten by Crystal Palace.
An injury-time 3-2 loss for Scott Gardner’s men, having come back from 2-0 down to make it 2-2. Gray though, was missing from the entire squad and it is likely because Farke wants him fit for Bournemouth.
Where does Harry Gray rank in Leeds’ striker pecking order
Obviously, Gray is Leeds’ fourth-choice striker. Farke might even prefer to start with Noah Okafor as a striker ahead of Gray, if Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Joel Piroe, and Lukas Nmecha all become unavailable.
But in terms of players Leeds want to keep, Gray will sit right at the top of the pecking order. Leeds would rather lose Piroe or Nmecha much earlier than 16-year-old Gray, such is the Thorp Arch talent’s potential.
Graeme Bailey has told LeedsUnited.News that Gray is set to remain at Leeds, with a contract able to be offered to Gray when he turns 17. That is despite Archie Gray’s Tottenham being interested in Harry.
