Crystal Palace have already waved goodbye to Michael Olise this summer after his £50m move to Bayern Munich and the Eagles could turn to Leeds to fill the void left by the Frenchman.
Palace starred during the second half of the season under German manager Oliver Glasner as Olise and Eberechi Eze combined to take Palace away from a possible relegation fight, to a lofty 10th position.
Palace’s form was reflected in Gareth Southgate naming four Eagles stars in his Euro 2024 squad. But Olise has left the club, and Eze could follow him in departing with plenty of clubs said to be interested.
Reports have previously said that Palace could look at one Leeds United player in particular if either Olise or Eze left and certainly, if both of them go. But Leeds could use that to their advantage this summer.

Leeds can use Palace interest to their advantage for £7m man
Leeds used the sale of Archie Gray to get Joe Rodon in at Elland Road. Talks that saw Spurs strike a £40m deal for Gray allowed Leeds to open negotiations for Rodon, and two separate deals were organised.
Leeds amassed £30m of profit for Gray, alongside the permanent addition of Rodon. Palace are said to be interested in a move for Crysencio Summerville with Olise leaving and Eze said to be attracting admirers.
More recent reports say Summerville is ‘weighing up his future’ with Palace, Villa and Newcastle keen. Villa have signed Jaden Philogene but Palace’s interest in Summerville is likely to be stronger than ever.

Leeds want “fantastic” Palace star and should use Summerville
Leeds are said to be keen on a loan for Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, while Southampton are planning a £7m bid for Rak-Sakyi. But if Palace are serious for Summerville, Rak-Sakyi should be used as a pawn.
If Palace do enter talks and given Olise’s exit they could come soon, then Leeds should request Rak-Sakyi in return. It would mean Palace would block a move to Southampton and give Leeds priority for a deal.
Much like Tottenham did, when Ipswich bid £10m to sign Rodon. Described as “fantastic”, Rak-Sakyi would be a top addition at Elland Road given his form in a Charlton shirt while on loan from Palace.
