Leeds United have finally sorted out the future of all eight players that used Victor Orta’s loan escape clause last summer, but they won’t receive a single penny for one of them.
Robin Koch and Luis Sinisterra’s future had already been sorted, with Koch joining Frankfurt on a free and Luis Sinisterra turning his loan at Bournemouth into a permanent deal with a fee said to be around £20m.
Marc Roca and Diego Llorente have joined Real Betis permanently, and there is a chance that Junior Firpo could join them. Brenden Aaronson and Max Wober are back at Leeds, ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
Two have left on loan, in the form of Jack Harrison and Rasmus Kristensen. The duo saw their loan clause pushed forward a year and Kristensen has reunited with Germany star Koch at Bundesliga side Frankfurt.

Kristensen has endured a couple of dismal years. His move to Leeds did not go to plan and come the second half of the 2022-23 season, Luke Ayling was back in the side and ahead of the Denmark defender.
Kristensen arrived at Roma before being immediately left out of their Europa League squad, with Jose Mourinho preferring Rick Karsdorp and Zeki Celik. In and out of the side, even under Daniele De Rossi.
The right-back has now joined Frankfurt on loan with the option of a £15m permanent purchase. German magazine Kicker though, report that Leeds will not receive a penny for the initial loan from Frankfurt.
Who is next to follow Kristensen out of the Leeds door?
With the squad now in Germany, it is expected that those who have traveled to Farke’s home nation for the next week or so will be involved at Elland Road next season, even Max Wober and Brenden Aaronson.
Jayden Bogle will be added to it. Indeed, Farke will at least want those traveling to be available to him after the deadline but the chances of that are slim, with Firpo, Willy Gnonto and Cree Summerville linked.
It would be a surprise to see the trio at Leeds come the end of the window but for now, having traveled to Germany, a move would come as a surprise over the next week at least as focus switches to fitness.
