Daniel Farke is already under pressure to ensure Leeds United return to winning ways quickly when they face Cardiff City.
The Whites make the long trip to the Welsh capital on the back of their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Burnley.
However, it is not necessarily the defeat on its own which raises question marks against Farke, but more so the manner of it.
Just like on several occasions last season, Leeds simply did not have the answers to a side happy to sit deep and defend, with a dismal second half display failing to conjure up a single decent opportunity.
Farke can point to Leeds’ failure to add another number 10 but these issues were then when both Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville were here last season. Unfortunately, it is the lack of intensity and tempo Leeds play with under Farke which is the issue.

Leeds needs to make Ilia Gruev change at Cardiff
Leeds will be coming up against a side in all sorts of trouble at the weekend as they face a Cardiff side who have picked up just one point in five matches, which could still see manager Erol Bulut lose his job before then.
Failing to come away with all three points would leave fans with massive question marks and so with that in mind, Farke simply cannot afford to go with the same side that were so poor against Burnley.
One of the problem areas of the team in the defeat at Elland Road was the midfield, as a partnership of Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev was simply far too safe in possession, making it easy for Burnley.
As captain, Ampadu is a staple of this team and so it is Gruev who has to be the man to make way. It’s not that he has been particularly poor this season, but more about the attributes he lacks in that advanced eight role.
Too often he is happy to pass the responsibility of the more difficult pass onto others and ultimately, that it was what Ao Tanaka was brought in to rectify on deadline day from Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Tanaka will have no issues with match fitness after playing three 90 minutes for Düsseldorf in August, though it is understandable why he has not started either of his first two matches.
He had only been a Leeds player for a matter of hours before the game against Hull City, and was then one of the late returnees from international duty after being away with Japan.
However, there is no excuse for him not to be brought into the XI at Cardiff as he will have had a full week of training with his new teammates behind him. Seven goals and four assists last season show he can offer far more in the final third than Gruev.
What other changes could Farke make for Leeds vs Cardiff?
Midfield is not the only position which could do with freshening up this weekend, with cases to be made both in defence and attack.
Right-back Jayden Bogle has struggled since his summer arrival and with both Isaac Schmidt and Sam Byram ready behind him, a case could be made there.
It was also incredibly baffling that Farke handed Largie Ramazani just over 10 minutes from the bench against Burnley, and a case could be made for him to come in.
Either way, Farke needs to start trusting these new signings more because at the moment, this is effectively the same team as last season, just without their three best players Archie Gray, Summerville and Rutter.
