Leeds United could make a surprise move for a new striker before the deadline on August 30 and an England international is on the club’s radar in the final few days of the window.
Daniel Farke made it clear following the exit of Georginio Rutter that he wanted four new signings at Leeds. Replacements for Rutter and Crysencio Summerville, a goalscoring midfielder and a new full-back.
Largie Ramazani has replaced Summerville and Manor Solomon is set to sign on loan from Tottenham today, to come in for Rutter. Leeds have also made a £13m bid for Sheffield United star Gustavo Hamer.
Max Aarons could also come in after coming so close to doing so at Leeds last summer. But it is also said that The 49ers could make a move for a new striker, according to a new report from Fabrizio Romano.

Leeds considering shock move to sign West Ham United striker
On Monday, it was claimed that Leeds are in the mix to sign West Ham’s England striker Danny Ings. The former Liverpool man has fallen down the pecking order at West Ham after Niclas Fullkrug’s arrival.
At Championship level, Ings would be a superb signing. A player with some much-needed experience in the final third, one that will work hard and certainly give Leeds a different dimension in the final third.
Ings is keen on game time and would be open to leaving West Ham and the Hammers would surely rubber stamp an exit if the price is right, or even potentially a loan move given he is not a starting player.

Bamford must be concerned about Leeds future if Ings signed
Leeds are already well-stocked up top and there is every chance that Joe Gelhardt goes on loan before the deadline given he is fourth-choice up top behind Mateo Joseph, Joel Piroe and then Patrick Bamford.
But Piroe has only just arrived and given Bamford is one of the club’s top earners, he has to be worried about his Leeds future. It’s been a while since £10m signing Bamford can truly say he’s earning his wage.
If Ings is signed, Bamford will surely be the one that Leeds try to get out of the door before the deadline. But focus right now will be on a midfielder and a full-back, before Leeds go after Ings or a new striker.
