Archie Gray will be making his 41st senior appearance for Leeds United on Sunday but there is something he will be able to do for the very first time.
Gray has enjoyed an unbelievable breakthrough season at Elland Road, quickly establishing himself as one of England’s top young talents, with Gareth Southgate even name dropping him yesterday.
The first 40 of Gray’s Leeds appearances all came as a 17-year-old, with his maturity at such a young age having blown both pundits and fellow teammates away.
However, Gray actually turned 18 earlier this week and so he is now finally about to be able to get his first proper taste of Leeds’ dressing room on a matchday.
As per the Daily Mail, Gray will actually be able to share a dressing room with the rest of his teammates for the very first time when Leeds host Millwall at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.

FA safeguarding policies state that anyone under the age of 18 have to get changed on their own but after celebrating his birthday on Tuesday, that will no longer be the case.
Clearly having to be separated from the rest of the team has had little to no impact on his performances anyway, as he has just got better and better as the season has gone on.

Leeds already got ahead of the curve in agreeing a new deal with Gray before he turned 18 to ward off any potential top-flight suitors, who have already began circling.
However, that contract will have become active the moment he turned 18 which means he is now tied down at Leeds for the long-term, which is brilliant news.
Hopefully Leeds are able to get promotion over the line this season so he can be playing at the top level week in, week out, which is clearly already where he belongs.
