Farke has likely been at Elland Road conducting all of his media duties ahead of Leeds making an official announcement this evening, to finally put the long-awaited managerial saga to bed.

The 46-year-old will be named in time to take Leeds’ first training session tomorrow after the first two days of pre-season testing took place at Leeds Beckett University.

Fans can finally rest knowing a manager is in place for Leeds to begin pre-season after several weeks of talks with potential candidates.

Leeds will be hoping his appointment is the start of a domino effect this summer, with plenty of work needed to be done on the squad in terms of incomings and outgoings.

Farke has beaten the likes of Scott Parker and Patrick Vieira to the role at Leeds, who have been searching for Sam Allardyce’s successor for several weeks.

The 46-year-old already has two promotions on his CV in the Championship having twice lifted the title with Norwich City.

As mentioned, Farke will get to work on his new squad tomorrow as he prepares to take his first session at Thorp Arch.
