Turkish outlet 61saat claim free agent Han-Noah Massengo is now of interest to SuperLig outfit Trabzonspor after being linked with a move to Leeds United this summer – as the Frenchman continues his search for a new home.
Massengo, 22, was released from his Bristol City contract earlier this summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at French club Auxerre. Pundit Edouard Cisse compared him to Edgar Davids during that loan spell.
But Auxerre did not sign him permanently and his contract at Ashton Gate has come to an end. That is despite the Robins spending a fee of £7m in 2019. He went on to play 110 matches for Bristol City in three and a half years.

Now, a free agent. Massengo is yet to find himself a new club. Phil Hay reported on The Athletic’s website that he was on the radar at Leeds and with the club struggling to spend in the constraints of FFP – Massengo may be ideal.
But, Leeds are not the only club to have shown interest. L’Equipe say he rejected Burnley, as he wants regular game time. Something he would probably get at Leeds. Now, reports say SuperLig side Trabzonspor want to him in Turkey.
Massengo now interesting Trabzonspor after being linked with Leeds
Massengo is a proven Championship midfielder, one with the potential to shine in the Premier League. One that is still 22, one that plays in a position where Leeds desperately need additions. It is an absolute no-brainer to sign him.

Proof which comes in the form of Burnley looking at him – a side in the Premier League, who feel he is good enough for the top tier. A move to Turkey is normally something players look for when they are past their best spell, peak.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has gone to Besiktas, for example. A move to Turkey at this stage in Massengo’s career would be a waste of time, a waste of talent. Leeds would be a much better move for Massengo, and we need him.
