It’s arguably the biggest game of the Championship season on Monday night as Leeds United take a short trip to Sheffield United.
Both Chris Wilder and Daniel Farke’s sides are in the running for promotion to the Premier League.
In what is no surprise to the Whites faithful, Chris Wilder is using ‘mind games’ on Leeds as the mental aspect of the game could prove important.
Farke will be hoping his Leeds side do the talking on the pitch, and extend their unbeaten run to 16 in the Championship.
Gustavo Hamer could play against Leeds, as there has been much speculation regarding his availability but even if the midfielder is, Tim Sherwood only sees one thing happening.

Tim Sherwood predicts outcome if Leeds United beat Sheffield United
In a peculiar admission, Wilder has already heaped massive praise on Leeds as you’d expect opposition managers to focus on their own chances.
It’s bound to be a cracker at Bramall Lane, and the Blades will have the chance to make things very interesting in the title race.
However, Sherwood said on Sky Sports (22/02/25, 12:34), that Leeds can achieve their goal with a win on Monday night.
“Bombing forward, nice and secure at the back – they’ve got the whole package,” Sherwood said.
“If they win (at Sheffield United), one ‘cup final’, they will win (the league) at a canter and parade to the finishing line.”

Leeds have nothing to lose against Sheffield United in Championship clash
The fixture is a massive game no doubt, but Leeds might not have as much to lose as the Blades.
Farke’s side have been magnificent and have got through the majority of their difficult games, and looking at their next fixtures it seems promising.
After they meet with the Blades, Leeds only face three of the current top-half sides in the Championship out of their last 13 games.
These being, West Brom, Millwall, and Bristol City, proving whatever the outcome, Leeds should still be favoured over Wilder’s side.
