Back at the beginning of November, Leeds United cruised to a 2-0 win over QPR at Elland Road. Goals from Jayden Bogle and Joel Piroe saw The Whites secure a routine victory.
A 2-0 win has been the story of much of Leeds’ season. Daniel Farke has identified the need for more control from his Leeds side this season, with 10 of their 23 league wins coming in the form of a 2-0 win.
Oh, how Leeds and Daniel Farke would love to register the same result on Saturday. Leeds go up against a QPR side that beat The Whites 4-0 in the same fixture last season, ending automatic promotion hopes.
Leeds were woeful at Loftus Road, the likes of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter all failing to have any kind of impact. Come Saturday lunchtime, Leeds will be looking to exact revenge on QPR.

Daniel Farke’s record against QPR should give Leeds fans hope
Throughout his managerial career, Farke has faced QPR on nine occasions. Three times with Leeds and six times as Norwich manager during his four-year stint as manager at Carrow Road before 2017 and 2021.
During his three games as Leeds manager, he has picked up two wins alongside the 4-0 loss. As Norwich manager, four wins and a draw as well as a defeat – picking up a total of 19 points from a possible 27.
That’s an average of 2.11 points per game for Farke during his nine games as manager against QPR as both boss of Norwich and Leeds. Leeds will be hoping on Saturday, it will be seven wins from 10.

During that time, Leeds have picked up six wins but lost on four occasions. Interestingly, Christiansen won both of his games while Bielsa lost three of the five games he faced QPR while in the dugout at Leeds.

One thing that will be of concern to Leeds fans going into Sunday’s game is the time of the kick-off. It is now a well-known trend that Leeds struggle during a lunchtime kick-off, Portsmouth the latest example.
