Leeds United were able to celebrate their title win this week at Monday’s parade but the city of Leeds has been busier in a sporting sense with the Premier League darts coming to town.
Leeds won huge games all season long on their way to the title, with the 49ers making lots of correct decisions behind the scenes last summer after losing Georginio Rutter, Crysencio Summerville, and Archie Gray.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 46 | 29 | 13 | 4 | 95 | 30 | 65 | 100 | |
| 2 | 46 | 28 | 16 | 2 | 69 | 16 | 53 | 100 | |
| 3 | 46 | 28 | 8 | 10 | 63 | 36 | 27 | 90 | |
| 4 | 46 | 21 | 13 | 12 | 58 | 44 | 14 | 76 |
How much Leeds can spend this summer is still up for debate after £250m claims have been made but the club can look ahead and begin their planning for the 2025/26 campaign. It’s an exciting time for the club heading into the summer, with Daniel Farke’s side bringing new life to Leeds these last few weeks.
With the city riding a high, and Leeds transfer rumours in full swing, the sporting events in and around Leeds have continued the promotion party. That was seen at the darts last night, where numerous Leeds fans were evidently present and enjoying themselves after seeing Ethan Ampadu’s Monday antics.

Stephen Bunting sends Leeds message amid Luke Littler winding up fans at First Direct Arena
Last night, Luke Humphries faced Luke Littler where the Leeds fan beat the Man United supporter to end his 10-week wait for a Premier League nightly victory in a 6-5 win. Humphries had not won a final since beating Littler on night four in Exeter and he came from 2-0 down to beat ‘The Nuke’ in a thriller.
Humphries is not from Leeds but supports the Whites through his father, and he was seen wearing a Leeds United-inspired yellow and blue shirt at the First Direct Arena to claim victory. That was after Littler found ways to wind up the Leeds crowd prior to them facing off.
This wasn’t the only occasion when Littler decided to try and get under the skin of the Leeds crowd, with the 18-year-old performing the ‘spygate’ gesture as well after his walk out to face Humphries — as shown below.
Not every player present at the darts was quite so keen to wind up the supporters, with Stephen Bunting sending the following message via his Twitter/X account regarding playing in Leeds last night: “Arrived at the venue here in Leeds the home to both Premier League darts and Premier League football.
“Congratulations @LUFC. Time to hit the practice board, I play Chris Dobey in tonight’s last quarter-final. #LetsGoBuntingMental.”
The Liverpool fan won 6-5 against Chris Dobey but then lost to Humphries 6-4 in the semi-final to miss out on facing Littler in the final.

Luke Humphries explains his Leeds pride after beating Littler
Luke Humphries spoke post-match of his pride to win in Leeds against Littler, with the world number one and number two facing off yet again.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Leeds fan said: “We weren’t at our best but it was a decent final and I do seem to raise my performance against him.
“It is extra special to win in Leeds, I feel at home here. I know it isn’t my hometown but it does feel extra special.
“I won here last year and it gave me extra confidence for the finals night and hopefully it does again – and I can get that elusive Premier League crown that I’ve always dreamed of.”
He will hope his side have as much success in 2025/26 as they did in 2024/25 by consolidating their position in English football’s top flight next season.
