Leeds United have signed Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Jaka Bijol, and Lukas Nmecha to bolster their ranks ahead of the Premier League.
Having started the window well, Leeds United have now lost momentum. Fans are beginning to grow restless at the lack of concrete activity, especially as they know how much more there is to come.
Leeds will sign at least seven more players this summer, but pre-season training has now begun, and there is the club’s first friendly to come this weekend against Manchester United.
Of course, the first Premier League game against Everton is over a month away and the transfer deadline isn’t until the first day of September. There is plenty of time but little to get excited about currently.

Leeds fans are expecting transfer activity imminently
It’s frustrating for Leeds fans who are growing increasingly impatient. With Leeds’ social media team teasing things in recent weeks, fans believe something might be happening amid their frustration.
Another added: “The only vibes we want are ✍🏼✍🏼✍🏼 Hopefully the 49rs have found their wallet 🤷🏻”
A further response read: “This and the fact that it’s been absolute radio silence from local journos over the weekend makes me think something is happening today.”
Finally, another Leeds fan added: “Please give us an update on transfers.. getting nervous!”
Of course, the innocuous post with Dan James could mean absolutely nothing, but Leeds have leaked signings cheekily via posts of this type recently.

The latest on Dan James’ contract situation at Leeds explained
Given that James is the one pictured, and with reports stating Leeds have agreed a long-term contract for James, there is every chance that this is merely a teaser for his new contract being announced.
There is a twist in those negotiations, as we exclusively revealed. That’s because James is taking a pay cut to remain with Leeds past 2026.
James has had a contract on the table for a while, and retaining the 27-year-old could be crucial to next season, given how much experience he has in the Premier League and how much he visibly loves the club.
It could be argued that his contract extension is the best business of Leeds’ window so far. James is the club’s Player of the Season and has warranted a longer contract.
