Back in the summer, Leeds United sanctioned permanent sales of eight players with three being sold to Premier League clubs for more than £100m – but another now finds himself in Saudi Arabia.
Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville joined Tottenham, Brighton and West Ham that saw Leeds rake in more than £100m. Five others joined the trio in being sold to other clubs by Leeds.
Marc Roca and Diego Llorente joined Real Betis permanently, while Kris Klaesson joined Rakow in Poland. Klaesson has since gone to Danish side Aarhus and then Klaesson moved to Viking in Norwegian football.
Two players moved to the top tier of French football, but their time in France could not have been more different. Charlie Cresswell is starring in a back three for Toulouse. For Glen Kamara, it was a nightmare.

Glen Kamara leaves Rennes for Saudi Arabia and enjoys 5-1 win
The Finland star was part of Rennes’ revamp last summer, but he flopped as have Rennes. Just 13 games into his Rennes spell and Kamara has been offloaded to Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab on a loan deal.
Signed by Al Shabab’s new sporting director and footballing legend Pavel Nedved, Kamara was inserted straight into Al Shabab’s midfield on Thursday as Fatih Terim’s side took on Pro League outfit Al-Khaleej.
A brace from Netherlands international and former Southampton defender Wesley Hoedt, and a hat-trick from Abderrazak Hamdallah saw Al-Shabab win 5-1. A win that takes Al-Shabab into sixth, of 18 teams.

How Leeds replaced Glen Kamara and saved money in process
Kamara joined Leeds in the same summer that Ilia Gruev arrived for £4m and Ethan Ampadu rocked up as a £7m signing from Chelsea. Archie Gray was basically a new signing, coming in as a Thorp Arch product.
With Gray playing mostly as a right-back, Kamara clocked up 42 outings for Leeds last term, he was sold for a fee in the region of £8m. But Leeds have managed to improve in midfield, spending less than half.
Ao Tanaka has come in for just under £3.5m, while Joe Rothwell has joined on loan and most Leeds fans would agree that Tanaka and Rothwell are an improvement on Kamara, alongside Ampadu and Gruev.
