Ryan Gravenberch was amongst those to praise Crysencio Summerville on social media after the Leeds United winger’s display at the weekend.

The Liverpool star responded to the Dutchman’s Instagram post which comes just a couple of days after he stole the show once again as Daniel Farke’s side beat Huddersfield Town at Elland Road.

Leeds keeping Crysencio Summerville in the summer is proving to be one of the most important pieces of business the club did in a turbulent window.

Farke has suggested that Summerville has improved this season. And his numbers definitely suggest that he has taken his game to another level this term.

Summerville has scored six goals and contributed four assists in the Championship. And those goals proved to be particular crucial against the likes of Cardiff City, Queens Park Rangers and Norwich City.

He was at it again at the weekend. Summerville scored twice and set up the two other goals as Leeds thrashed Huddersfield.

He has taken to social media again on Monday, and amongst those to reply was Gravenberch…

Leeds surely facing fight to keep winger

Summerville is almost playing too well from a Leeds perspective. Ross McCormack has already suggested that he is the best player in the Championship. If we are going to keep ourselves in the automatic-promotion mix, it feels imperative that the 21-year-old stays fit.

But there is also the January transfer window to negotiate. And it is hard to imagine Leeds not receiving offers for Summerville from clubs in the Premier League.

If he continues to play as well as he currently is, it is going to be difficult to keep Summerville.

Hopefully, the winger is ready to stay until the summer at the very least.
