Daniel Farke has told Saturday’s post-match press conference – as per Leeds Live – that Crysencio Summerville is “improving” under his guidance as Leeds United boss, after a 4-1 win over Huddersfield.
Summerville, 21, has had a hand in 10 goals in 11 Championship games for Leeds this season. One of those came from the bench, Stoke earlier this week. The Dutch talent is in the best form of his life.
The Netherlands U21 star has been fantastic for Leeds. But it was not always that way. Last season, Summerville was in and out of the Leeds side – unable to really turn glimpses of quality into consistency.
But this season, he seems to be doing that – perhaps, aided by relegation to the Championship. The no.10 was excellent again, not the only time this season, and Farke says the winger is now improving.

“In terms of end product he has improved a lot since the start. Many games play on a top level, but for a young player to develop in the right direction they need goals and assists,” Farke said, on Summerville.
“Gets more and more comfortable in this sense. We work on this at TA. He has to finish lots and lots in training. Really good week for end products, but come on, keep going,” the Leeds manager continued.
Daniel Farke says Leeds man Crysencio Summerville is improving
He is certainly getting better. A superb talent that now has the platform and stage to go on and shine. Farke is giving him that. He now has what it takes to go on and guide Leeds and Farke to promotion.
What is crucial, is that Leeds keep him. In any way, Leeds need to make sure he remains – and that could mean by offering him a contract. Extending his stay, improving terms, to deter Premier League clubs.
