Richard Keys has given his verdict on Leeds United’s chances of winning automatic promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Leeds beat Leicester City at Elland Road in the Championship on Friday evening.
So, what has Richard Keys said about Leeds United? Let’s take a look.
Richard Keys comments on Leeds United
Well, Leeds United beat Leicester City 3-1 at Elland Road in the Championship on Friday evening.
Daniel Farke’s side had to come from a goal down to pick up all three points in front of their fans.
Connor Roberts, Archie Gray and Patrick Bamford scored the goals for Leeds. All the goals came after the 80th minute.
Leeds are now second in the Championship table. The Whites are on 72 points from 34 matches.
Leicester are at the top with 78 points from 34 games, while Ipswich Town are third and level on points with Leeds. Southampton are fourth with 67 points.

Former Sky Sports presenter and current beIN SPORT anchor Richard Keys seems to think that Leicester and Leeds will end up in the top two of the Championship table this season and win automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Speaking on beIN Sports [24 February, 5:25pm], Keys asked co-host Andy Gray said, as transcribed on MOTLeedsNews: “The top two are going to be the top two, aren’t they? Are you worried if you’re a Southampton fan?”
Gray responded: “They’ll have to make do over a play-off place and find some form.”
My View: Leeds United fans should be optimistic
In my opinion, Leeds United fans should be optimistic about the team’s chances of winning automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds are on a roll under head coach Daniel Farke. The Whites have won their last nine Championship matches.
Leicester have arguably the best squad in the league and have the best team in the division, so to win against them is massive for Leeds.
