Eintracht Frankfurt completed the signing of Robin Koch on a season-long-loan from Leeds United on Thursday.
And in a story released by Bild this morning, it has now been confirmed how much Frankfurt have paid Leeds to take him on loan amid reports he would leave on a free transfer.
The German outlet claim the two clubs reached an agreement on a loan fee worth around £420,000 (€500,000), while also taking over the entirety of Koch’s salary.
Koch has almost certainly played his last game for Leeds with his contract set to expire next summer, which is why reports had gathered pace that the Whites were set to lose him for nothing.
It is said that Frankfurt have a plan in place to sign Koch permanently as soon as they are able to, which is on January 1, when pre-contract agreements can start to be arranged.

Leeds left themselves in a terrible situation by including these relegation loan clauses in contracts, but at least they will be earning some sort of money from this deal.
That said, Leeds paid £13 million to sign Koch from Freiberg back in the summer of 2020, which of course means they are making a considerable loss on the 26-year-old.
However, Koch is likely to have been among Leeds’ top earners and so to get his wages completely off the books will provide them with some space to reinvest.
Koch sent a message of gratitude to Leeds and its supporters on Instagram on Thursday night after his departure was confirmed, with Tyler Roberts and Luke Ayling among those to wish him well.
He made 77 appearances in total across his three seasons at Elland Road, including 36 last season as Leeds were relegated from the Premier League.
