Arsenal and Tottenham also eyeing £17.25m star linked with Leeds, dreaming of move to England

Leeds United have been consistently linked with a move for Kerem Akturkoglu this month but now, the Whites have some big competition for his signature – from Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham.

Akturkoglu, 25, has starred for Galatasaray this season – clocking up 16 goals and assists in 30 games for the Turkish club. Two of those have come in the Champions League against Manchester United.

Earlier this month, reports claimed that Akturkoglu was set to say ‘goodbye’ to Galastarasay, and that Leeds had made a move to land the attacker. It comes after Leeds and Lazio were linked in December.

This week, Ajax are said to have made a bid of £13m for Akturkoglu after a meeting on Wednesday. But, that Gala want as much as £17.25m for the Turkey star. Now, more English clubs want to sign him.

Football Transfers say that not only Ajax or Leeds are keen, but London clubs Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham are also keen on landing the playmaker. Takvim say he wants to move to English football.

So, where is best for Akturkoglu? Ajax would be an excellent move for him given West Ham are looking to sign Steven Bergwijn. That, in turn, may suggest West Ham would be a good move for Akturkoglu.

But the Hammers seem more focused on the former Tottenham flyer. Arsenal and Spurs would be huge moves for Akturkoglu but you would imagine he would struggle to start. Would he join Leeds? Hardly.

Not while Leeds are in the second tier – and certainly, the relationship between the two clubs would make a move difficult. Ajax or West Ham would be his best move this month – or simply, stay put.
