Leeds United are really starting to build up ahead of steam under Daniel Farke.

The Whites picked up 12 points from their five matches following the October international break, as they cut the gap on the top two to eight following a strong run of form.

In truth, it should’ve been five wins from five had Patrick Bamford managed to score that penalty at Stoke City, but thankfully Leeds have bounced back well from that disappointment.

Once this international break is over, Leeds head into their busiest part of the season with the Christmas period not too far around the corner.

So, with that in mind, we have predicted Leeds’ next five matches.

November 24: Rotherham United (A)

Leeds will be expecting to come away with all three points against a struggling Rotherham side, but arguably face them at the worst possible time.

Rotherham have just sacked manager Matt Taylor and so could be facing Leeds with a new manager bounce behind them. They are always difficult to beat at home too.

With the game scheduled for a Friday night, it will be a tight turnaround for many of Leeds’ international players, which will make it even more difficult. Close win.

Prediction: Rotherham 1-2 Leeds

November 29: Swansea City (H)

Joel Piroe’s first reunion with his former side comes at the end of the month at Elland Road, where Leeds will be looking to make it six home wins in a row.

After a difficult start to life under Michael Duff, Swansea have improved as of late, though their run of four wins in a row has been followed by just one win in five.

This is another home game Leeds will be targeting maximum points from.

Prediction: Leeds 2-0 Swansea

December 2: Middlesbrough (H)

Leeds face arguably their toughest home game of the season at the beginning of December as Michael Carrick brings his Middlesbrough side to Elland Road.

Having not won any of their first seven, Boro have since won seven of their last nine to propel themselves to just two points off the play-offs.

Boro have beaten both relegated sides in that run, but will be without Sam Greenwood as he is ineligible, which is a blow.

Prediction: Leeds 1-1 Boro

December 9: Blackburn Rovers (A)

Blackburn actually play some of the most attractive football in the division but have been unable to turn that into consistent wins, particularly at home.

Rovers have lost five of their eight matches at Ewood Park and if they open up like they have been doing, Leeds could really hurt them on the counter-attack.

This could be a game that plays right into the hands of Daniel Farke’s side.

Prediction: Blackburn 1-3 Leeds

December 12: Sunderland (A)

Games in this division do not come much tougher than a trip to Sunderland, as Southampton found out back in September when they were beaten 5-0.

The Black Cats have one of the division’s best players in former Leeds winger Jack Clarke, and play some really nice football under Tony Mowbray.

Leeds will have to be at their best to come away with all three points here.
