Leeds United begin a period of seven matches in just over three weeks with a trip to Blackburn Rovers.

The Whites will be looking to make it three Championship wins in a row and keep the pressure on the top two in the early kick-off at Ewood Park.

With such a packed schedule over the coming weeks, Daniel Farke will have to manage his squad carefully, but thankfully only has two or three injury concerns at the moment.

Crysencio Summerville and Sam Byram were among those struggling earlier in the week, but should be fit for tomorrow all being well.

So, with that in mind, here is our predicted XI.

Goalkeeper

Illan Meslier keeps his place in goal.

Defence

As mentioned, Byram looks set to be fit for the match and so starts at left-back with Junior Firpo still recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered 10 days ago against Swansea City.

Djed Spence is getting closer and closer to a start but Archie Gray keeps his place on the other flank, with Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon continuing their centre-back partnership.

Midfield

Ilia Gruev will be hoping for a start or two in the next few matches but that is unlikely to arrive tomorrow, with Ethan Ampadu and Glen Kamara starting together once again.

Like Byram, Summerville is also expected to be fit to start at Ewood Park and so keeps his place on the left, with Dan James again on the other side.

Joel Piroe and Georginio Rutter make up the remainder of the front four, with Willy Gnonto, Jaidon Anthony and Patrick Bamford hopeful of an increased role over the Christmas period.

Farke spoke of Gnonto and Bamford in yesterday’s press conference, and particularly in the case of the former, there is no doubt that he will get some starts in the coming weeks.
