Pablo Hernandez, Mateusz Klich and Rodrigo are among those to react after Leeds United confirmed Adam Forshaw’s departure today.
The Whites made the announcement across each of their social media platforms thanking Forshaw for his contribution during his five-and-a-half-years at the club.
Forshaw had been offered a 12 month extension on reduced terms at Leeds but with interest in his services mounting elsewhere, has made the decision to move on.

Leeds’ offer of a new deal is believed to have reflected the number of injury problems he has had to deal with in the last three years, which has seen him miss an enormous amount of football.
After arriving from Middlesbrough in January 2018, Forshaw has gone onto make 91 appearances for Leeds, and was part of the side that won promotion three years ago.
Hernandez, Klich and Rodrigo react to Forshaw’s Leeds exit
Even despite his prolonged absences on the pitch, Forshaw remained a well respected figure off it with his experience clearly a big part of the dressing room.
Hernandez, Klich and Rodrigo are just some of those to react to Forshaw’s departure, with the likes of Stuart Dallas and Luke Ayling also having wished him well.

Forshaw is believed to have interest from both Saudi Arabia and the Championship following his departure, and providing he can stay fit, will be a huge asset to whoever he joins.
He played a huge part in helping keep Leeds up during the 2021/22 season in the absence of Kalvin Phillips, with the 31-year-old the only player who could get close to replacing his skillset.
Forshaw was also impressive in the final four games of last season under Sam Allardyce, but unfortunately could not help get Leeds over the line.
