Jermaine Jenas has told Sunday’s Match of the Day 2 that the Leeds United board are “all over the place” with the club struggling to bring in a replacement for Jesse Marsch – having been rejected a number of times by various managers.
Arne Slot is creating “something beautiful” at Feyenoord. Carlos Corberan has signed a new deal at West Brom. Ange Postecoglou is staying at Celtic. Marcelo Gallardo wants a hiatus a bit longer. Rayo have blocked Andoni Iraola’s move.
The front runner for the job is now out-of-work Alfred Schreuder, which has not gone down well with Leeds fans on social media. Leeds confirmed at the start of their search for a new manager, that it would be a boss currently in work.
Speaking on Match of the Day following Sunday’s 2-0 loss to Manchester United, Jenas took aim at the Leeds board. He says that it seems as though things are a little bit “all over the place”. Having been rejected by a number of bosses.
“They’ve to figure out what they want to do. A couple of managers have turned it down, which is not a great sign. They’re a little bit all over the place. It feels that those in the board room are not singing on the same hymn sheet.”

Forgetting that, Leeds need a manager ahead of two absolutely crucial games against Everton and then Southampton. Two games that will either make, or break, our chances of staying in the Premier League come the end of the season.
