Leeds United’s win against Sunderland can be seen as a season-defining result for Daniel Farke’s side.
It was bedlem at Elland Road as Pascal Struijk’s brilliance saw a 95th-minute header claim all three points as Leeds won 2-1 vs Sunderland.
Leeds will be in awe of Struijk who came off the bench and didn’t only score the winner but also grabbed the first in a spirited second-half performance from the Whites.
Wilson Isidor’s opener certainly sent a shock around the Stadium, but Leeds have now extended their unbeaten run to 15 games and have regained top spot in the Championship.
Struijk’s impact was excellent but former Leeds manager Neil Redfearn spotted a Whites star who was even better.

In a game full of controversy as Leeds should’ve had a penalty against Sunderland, it didn’t matter in the end after Struijk saved the day.
The Whites now extend the gap to ten over Sunderland as the win could prove to be the pivotal result that gains promotion back to the Premier League for Farke’s side.
Struijk was the hero but Redfearn praised Manor Solomon who was brilliant once again for Leeds.
“Solomon has been the standout player tonight,” Redfearn said to BBC Radio Leeds.
“He’s so difficult to pin down.”
Solomon shines for Leeds once again against Sunderland
Solomon just keeps on impressing for the Whites on loan from Tottenham.
The hope is that Solomon signs for Leeds permanently as after another stellar performance from the winger against Sunderland, Leeds fans will be praying this is the first point of business when the transfer window comes around.
