Leeds United may be playing in the Championship this season, but a number of their players are on international duty at the moment.
Brenden Aaronson is part of the current USA squad, while Wilfried Gnonto is turning out for the Italy Under-21 side.
Another Leeds player who is away on international duty is Joe Rodon. The defender is part of the Wales squad.
Wales took on Turkey away from home at the RHG Enertürk Enerji Stadyumu in UEFA Nations League – League B – Group 4 on Saturday evening.
The match ended in a goalless draw. Wales were the better side and were very attacking.
Turkey, though, had their moments, but they could not get past Rodon and Ben Davies in central defence.
The Leeds star was a rock at the back for his country and made some important blocks and challenges. Wales fans were impressed with Rodon.

The 27-year-old central defender won one header and made two tackles and seven clearances. He also had a pass accuracy of 81.6% and had 52 touches of the ball.
The performance of the Leeds defender for Wales against Turkey impressed the national media.
Rating Rodon’s performance as 8 out of 10, WalesOnline noted: “Made several really important contributions. Mopped up crosses. Put in tackles and put his body on the line.”
General football website, GiveMeSport, also praised Rodon for his performance.
Giving him 8 out of 10, they wrote: “On hand to make a succession of key blocks in the Welsh back-line and showed bravery and maturity. After having to wear a head bandage after a clash of heads with Harris, his performance improved further.”
Joe Rodon loves playing for Wales
Rodon is 27 now and is at the top of his game. Things did not work out for him at Tottenham, but he is flourishing at Leeds.
The defender is a key player for Leeds and is also a senior figure in the Wales dressing room.
Rodon loves playing for Wales, especially under manager Craig Bellamy, and perhaps that is the main reason why he is so good whenever he wears the national team shirt.
The defender told BBC Sport in October: “For me it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with him and his team.
“The level and detail of everything is top class and to learn here with him is a pleasure. You could see after the games that all the boys enjoyed it.
“Of course, we want to build momentum and keep learning as a group. Team spirit and togetherness is always high and we’re just really excited for the future games.”
