The Herald claim six European clubs are battling to sign Rangers midfielder and Leeds United target Glen Kamara this summer, with a fee of £5.5m required – including Max Wober’s new side Gladbach, and rivals Galatasaray.
Kamara, 27, is expected to leave Ibrox this summer after three and a half years at Rangers – in which he clocked up 193 games for the Gers. He helped win the 20-21 Scottish Premiership title, and reach the Europa League final.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Graham Smyth says the 48-time Finland star is on our radar – and Michael Beale said he is training by himself, a move that is best for all involved. He has two years remaining on his Rangers deal.
A new report from The Herald states that Kamara has interest from all over Europe, totalling six clubs. French duo Lyon and Stade Reims, Turkish sides Trabzonspor and Gala, Danish outfit Copenhagen and Wober’s Gladbach.

The left-footed defender has joined Gladbach on a loan deal until the end of the season, joining Daniel Farke’s old outfit. The latest report says that a fee of £5.5m is required to sign Kamara – who was an Arsenal academy product.
Gladbach and Galatasaray battling to sign Leeds target Glen Kamara
It seems that our pursuit of Kamara is probably over. Leeds have little chance when it comes to battling the likes of Lyon, Gladbach and other clubs – which include sides in European competition. He is easily affordable for Leeds.
The Whites can offer him a starting spot in midfield, if Tyler Adams leaves. But, a move to the likes of Lyon or along with Wober at Gladbach will be tempting for Kamara. It is unclear what his stance is in terms of his next club.
