Ever since Marcelo Bielsa left the club, a hole has been left in some capacity at Leeds United.
Bielsa will always be lauded upon by Leeds fans for his excellent work in the Premier League in what has been the bright spark in the Whites’ minimal recent success.
Liam Cooper stated that Bielsa galvanised the club, and the Argentine did exactly that through his management during his four-year tenure.
His impact has been shown with Raphinha thanking Bielsa for his form now, as a Ballon d’Or could be on the cards for the Brazilian.
So judging by this, fans will love a recent announcement which sees Bielsa involved with the Whites once more.

Marcelo Bielsa accepts new role involving Leeds United
The Argentine was a massive hit at Elland Road, and his legacy has continued and will continue for years to come.
Daniel Farke has done an excellent job, but what Bielsa did will take a lot to live up to for the German.
He recently showed his admiration for the club as Bielsa congratulated Leeds on promotion, and he will no doubt keep an eye on their performances in the Premier League next season.
Well, it’s clear he couldn’t stay away from Leeds too long and will now be involved in some capacity with the club.
The Whites have an overseas fan project called ‘Leeds United Iberia’ which was set up to bring together Leeds fans from across the whole of the Iberian Peninsula.
It’s an ambitious project that was lacking a leader, and in a recent letter, chairman Martin Bland had the pleasure of announcing their first honorary president, naming ‘Don Marcelo Alberto Bielsa Caldera (Marcelo Bielsa)’ for the new role.

Bielsa was always going to return to Leeds in some capacity
The announcement will please every single Whites fan who had the pleasure of experiencing his stay in Yorkshire.
Of course, this does not affect the first team, and with Bielsa in his role with Uruguay, it doesn’t seem like a return in a managerial capacity will be happening anytime soon.
Previously, Bielsa’s return to Leeds has been mooted, but with the iconic manager now almost 70, Bielsa will be more than happy to see Farke succeed at Elland Road.
But him becoming the president of this exciting project shows he loves the club, and his return was always bound to happen, and what better way to do it with this ambitious project.
