Leicester City are now reportedly in talks to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, who would be ideal for Leeds United.
According to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, the two clubs have begun discussions over a potential loan deal with optimism an agreement can be reached.
While wingers aren’t exactly top of Leeds’ list of priorities right now, this could be a real crucial signing in the race for promotion with Rak-Sakyi arriving as a very highly rated young prospect.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Charlton Athletic in League One, where he scored an impressive 15 goals, as well as registering a further eight assists.
There had been some talk Rak-Sakyi would be handed his first team opportunity at Crystal Palace this season with Michael Olise of interest to Manchester City and Chelsea, but it now appears Leicester could sign him.
Leicester in talks to sign Rak-Sakyi, who could be key to pipping Leeds in promotion battle
Leeds currently have a plethora of top wingers at their disposal but it certainly could be argued they are the most likely to get a move before the end of the window.
Luis Sinisterra, Wilfried Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville, Dan James, Jack Harrison and Ian Poveda are all options at Daniel Farke’s disposal, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see at least two of those move on.

If Leeds could bring in money for someone like Harrison, they could then look to do a deal for Rak-Sakyi on loan, which would also provide them with extra funds to strengthen elsewhere.
Other than Poveda, who has very much come in from the cold under Farke, Leeds don’t really have a quality left-footed winger who prefers playing on the right in their squad.
Rak-Sakyi would certainly provide the perfect option to fill that profile, but now with Leicester seemingly well-placed to sign him, that is a real coup for the Foxes in the promotion race.
