Leeds United have been told that they have a “menace” in their team who can fire Daniel Farke’s side to Premier League safety.
Daniel Farke vowed to enjoy a slice of cake and a cup of coffee after his side picked up two very satisfying results against Chelsea and Liverpool.
Leeds’ four points from two difficult Premier League games will be doubly satisfying for the Leeds boss, who has now found a way to unlock his side’s stuttering attack.
At one point this season, centre back Joe Rodon looked to be Leeds’ most dangerous attacking threat, as his two goals from set pieces saw him briefly top the club’s scoring charts.
However, Farke’s forwards have now found their goalscoring form and, according to TalkSport pundit Gabby Agbonlahor, one of them could fire Leeds to safety this season.

Gabby Agbonlahor backs Leeds United ‘menace’ to fire safety bid
Speaking on TalkSport Breakfast on the morning of 9th December, Agbonlahor backed Leeds forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin to help his side score the goals they need to stay in the Premier League.
Calvert-Lewin has now scored four goals this season, including three in his last three games, and Agbonlahor asserted that his all-round play was equally important to Leeds.
Agbonlahor said: “You look at the goals, and you say, listen, were they all outstanding goals, no. But is he being a menace? Is he working hard? Is he chasing lost causes to get some of his goals? Yes, he is. That’s what he’s got to keep doing
“Because sometimes, you’re not going to score a perfect goal, the goal that everyone’s going to look and say, ‘Oh, that was a worldie,’ that doesn’t matter.”
“When you look back at the end of the season, how many goals did Calvert-Lewin score? Were Calvert-Lewin’s goals the reason why Leeds stayed in the Premier League?
“I bet Calvert-Lewin would have missed that penalty three games ago, but because he’s confident, he scored two in two, he’s like I’m taking the penalty, goal.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s output is improving for Leeds United
Calvert-Lewin struggled in the opening weeks of the season for Leeds, missing a string of big chances as he failed to find his form in front of goal.
However, a change of system has hugely benefited the former Everton man, who looks to have found a natural partner in Lukas Nmecha.
Calvert-Lewin’s improving output is a testament to this, as he has scored three in three and seen his average expected goals per game total leap.

The England international has rediscovered his form in front of goal
According to FBRef, Calvert-Lewin never managed an xG total over one goal per game before the game against Chelsea.
Following the switch to 5-3-2, Calvert-Lewin has achieved a total xG of 1.4 against Chelsea and 1.9 against Liverpool. Having underperformed by this metric, the England international now has four goals against a total xG for the season of 4.6.
Calvert-Lewin was under a lot of pressure to deliver when he was signed as Leeds’ marquee forward this summer. In the last three games, he has shown signs of being the bargain Farke hoped he would be.
