There have been a lot of updates this week around the club, both on the pitch and off the pitch, with transfer updates, injury news and more.

Leeds have won four out of their last five matches in the Championship and they are looking really good at the moment. Fans will hope that they can push for automatic promotion this campaign and not just the Play-Offs.

Leeds United allowed winger Jack Harrison to head out on loan during the summer transfer window, and he is spending the season in the Premier League at Everton. Now, reports from TeamTalk are suggesting that the Toffees are keen on signing the Leeds star on a permanent deal. The report goes on to say that Leeds would allow him to go, but they have placed a huge price tag on the winger.

The player would be happy to stay at Everton; however, Leeds have placed a huge £30m price tag on Harrison. The possible transfer would become a lot more likely if Daniel Farke was not able to get Leeds promoted from the Championship this season.

The January transfer window is not far away, and it looks like it could be another month of Leeds trying to convince Crysencio Summerville to stay at the club. Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an interesting update on the future of the Leeds attacker.

Romano told Caught Offside: “I mentioned Everton, Bournemouth and Burnley as clubs interested in Summerville last summer but he decided to stay at Leeds. In January it could change – I’m not aware of anything advanced yet.

“But this could change in the next few weeks as many clubs are following him, though I can’t comment on any concrete names for the moment.”

Of course, Leeds will want to do everything possible to try and keep Summerville at the club, especially due to the fact that he is the top goalscorer this season. This may be hard though due to the fact that multiple Premier League clubs are circling. If he changes his mind in January and tries to leave the club, then Leeds’ promotion push could be in big trouble.

Willy Gnonto ‘counting the days’ before he can leave Leeds

New reports from Calcio Mercato are suggesting that Wilfried Gnonto is still wanting to leave the club as soon as possible. The recent news from the Italian publication is now suggesting that the attacker is ‘counting the days’ before he can leave Leeds in January.

Apparently, the Italian is adamant that he wants to leave the club in the summer. This should not be a shock, with the 19 year-old trying to force his way out of Leeds over the summer transfer window.

Leeds didn’t grant him his wish then, and only time will tell as to whether they will now. It will be very interesting to see what they do but having someone who wants to leave so badly in the squad could ruin the chemistry and the harmony of a team that is trying to battle for promotion. It may be best to allow him to depart.
