Leeds United might have to get used to following the same procedures as Premier League teams next season, but they are already doing something not even top-flight teams do.
Leeds are making excellent ground in terms of their pursuit of the Premier League.
Daniel Farke’s men have made their intentions clear, as a club like the Whites should be back where they belong next season.
Don Goodman backs Leeds to win the league, as many other pundits take this view, in what will now be a crucial last 14 for the Yorkshire side.
However, with their size and brilliant performances, comes unfortunate sacrifice.

Leeds United won’t be happy at fixture announcement
At this point in the season, fixtures get extremely congested with plenty of football still to be played.
So it’s not ideal when the EFL make controversial announcements, as Sheffield United fan Craig Pawson will referee Leeds with the title chase so tight.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 32 | 20 | 9 | 3 | 66 | 19 | 47 | 69 | |
| 2 | 32 | 21 | 6 | 5 | 46 | 23 | 23 | 67 | |
| 3 | 32 | 17 | 13 | 2 | 39 | 9 | 30 | 64 | |
| 4 | 32 | 17 | 11 | 4 | 49 | 28 | 21 | 62 |
Well to add insult to injury, the EFL have confirmed that Leeds will not have a 3 pm kickoff until March 29th, as their fixture against QPR was changed to 12:30, causing uproar.
This means their next six games are all different from the usual 3 pm.
As Leeds prepare for a packed TV schedule and no usual kick-off times, they will now be doing something not even Premier League clubs do.

Leeds forced to do something Champions League clubs are banned from
In an extraordinary revelation, Leeds are now going against what Premier League clubs have been doing since 2021.
The Independent revealed in 2021 that a Premier League meeting was held in which all 20 top-flight clubs agreed to change Champions League clubs who play on a Wednesday, to not playing Saturday lunchtime on the same week.
This has of course come to fruition and has been applied to all the clubs involved. However, it doesn’t apply to Leeds.
Leeds face Millwall on Wednesday the 12th of March and will now play on Saturday lunchtime against QPR in the same week.
After Leeds’ 4-0 win over Watford Farke will be hoping to build momentum, but now this has come into place, expect to see plenty of rest days for key players.
Farke will not be happy in the slightest and it brings a whole new meaning to one rule for them and another for Leeds.
