Daniel Farke has been through the ringer in the last few weeks. But Leeds United fans have a more positive message for the gaffer after the win at Middlesbrough.
On Tuesday night, Leeds United beat Middlesbrough 1-0 to return to the top of the Championship table in dramatic fashion, after Burnley drew at Derby County and Sheffield United lost against Millwall.
Dan James scored the only goal of the game. And Leeds United could easily have won by three goals but for more refereeing controversy after Ao Tanaka had an onside goal disallowed in the first half.
Patrick Bamford then had another dubious one ruled out in the second half but it didn’t matter in the end, as Leeds ran out 1-0 winners at the Riverside.

Leeds United fans ‘trust’ in Daniel Farke after Middlesbrough win
Leeds United fans have blasted Farke in recent weeks. Especially after the last game against Luton Town, Farke was coming under huge scrutiny on social media. But on Tuesday night, he’s a hero once again.
“Maybe Farke does know something about good away points?” said one Leeds United fan. “Farke out still?” asked another on social media.
This Leeds supporter wrote: “Some of the writing off of Daniel Farke on here lately has been comedy really.” A similar comment read: “Should have been three [goals] shocking off-side decisions again. In Farke we trust.”
Then this Leeds fan added: “They are top. After 41 games they can still get 100pts. Their GD is +52!” as other comments ranged from: “Trust Farke and the boys. Keyboard warriors should just calm down a bit,” and even: “WHERE ARE ALL THE FARKE OUT LOT NOW? I CAN’T HEAR YOU.”

Leeds United’s next game compared to Burnley and Sheffield United
It’s well and truly a three-horse race for the top two. And as the last couple of games have shown, it can all change in a single match with Burnley, Leeds United and Sheffield United all so evenly-matched right now.
This coming weekend sees Leeds United host Preston North End and Sheffield United head to Plymouth Argyle, whilst Burley host Norwich City on the Friday night.
Scott Parker’s Clarets could get a psychological edge over Leeds and Sheffield United with a win on Friday, but they also have to deal with having a day’s less rest.
Leeds’ game kicks off 12:30pm on Saturday.
