Throughout the summer, Daniel Farke’s position as Leeds United manager was questioned, and some even suggested that Sean Dyche would be the obvious hire for the Elland Road board.
Troy Deeney suggested Dyche should take Leeds forward. The belief was that Farke would struggle in the Premier League, as he had done at Norwich, having won only six of 49 Premier League games with them.
Paraag Marathe placed his faith in Farke and it seems to have paid off so far, with Farke securing eight points from Leeds’ first seven Premier League games. Obviously, there is a long way to go this season.
Dyche might have fancied the Leeds job, but now it could be that the former Burnley and Everton boss, who coached Jack Harrison for much of his Everton stint, could now face Leeds in the next few weeks.

Nottingham Forest considering a second managerial change
Evangelos Marinakis made the bizarre decision to sack Nuno Espirito Santo earlier this season. Nuno has since taken the job at West Ham, who Leeds face on October 24, a Friday night clash at Elland Road.
Leeds then go to the City Ground to take on Forest on November 9, which LeedsUnited.News predicts will end in a 1-1 draw. However, Marinakis could decide to make a second managerial change by then.

According to The Telegraph, Leeds’ relegation rivals Forest are considering sacking Ange Postecoglou after just seven winless games. The frontrunner to replace Postecoglou is Dyche, who is still out of work.
Sean Dyche rejected the 49ers only a few days ago
Dyche has been out of work since leaving Everton, being replaced by David Moyes. The Englishman is renowned for his ability to keep sides in the Premier League and stave off the threat of relegation.

But interestingly, Dyche was a target for Rangers after the sacking of Russell Martin. However, Dyche ruled out a move to Rangers soon after Martin’s sacking, snubbing any potential plans Marathe had.
Rangers and Marathe have since tried to bring Steven Gerrard back to Ibrox, but it seems the Liverpool icon has withdrawn from talks to take back the job he left in 2021. Dyche could hold out for Forest.
