Daniel Farke confirmed earlier today that Leeds United remain active in the transfer market.
Four new faces have arrived through the doors at Elland Road so far but Farke is keen to bring in at least three more before the end of the window.
Central midfield and full-back have been positions of priority for a number of weeks now, while another winger has also come onto the agenda after Crysencio Summerville’s exit.
Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony has urged Leeds to get business done quickly but it would be fair to say the squad is in good shape ahead of Saturday’s opener with Portsmouth.
Signings are not expected before the weekend, though work is continuing behind-the-scenes, with just three weeks of the window remaining.

Graeme Bailey says Leeds eyeing double deal this month
49ers Enterprises have kept a tight ship when it comes to leaking news of transfers at Leeds, but it feels pretty clear who they have been targeting in midfield and out wide.
Leeds saw a £3.3 million bid for Dejan Ljubicic rejected by FC Koln last month, while talks are progressing with Norwich City over a move for Jonathan Rowe.
No formal offer has yet been made for the latter, while a second bid does not appear to have gone in Ljubicic as of yet, though according to transfer expert Graeme Bailey, both are very much targets.
Speaking exclusively to LeedsUnited.News, Bailey says movement has been a little slow this week but work is continuing on both, as he expects Leeds to be one of the busiest sides in the window this month.
He said: “There hasn’t been much movement this week but they are also chasing the lad from FC Koln – Ljubicic. They like them both and are still working on both. Leeds are going to be one of the busiest teams this month, for me.
“They do like both, whether they can get Rowe, Norwich don’t need to sell after getting the Sara money, but they do still like him. I expect one, if not two wingers to come in for Leeds.”
Leeds’ dream XI on August 30
Given the amount of money Leeds could be about to splash on these two players, it is likely they will be in Farke’s strongest XI if they do join.
Rowe is likely to take a place on the right of a front four alongside Wilfried Gnonto, Georginio Rutter and Mateo Joseph.
Ljubicic, meanwhile, would be the more forward thinking midfielder of the partnership with Ethan Ampadu.
Even though, Leeds are keen on another left-back, a back five of Illan Meslier, Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Junior Firpo picks itself.
