Leeds United have signing number five of the summer firmly in their sights.
Daniel Farke is still keen on adding at least three new faces to his squad before the end of the window and it would appear they are getting closer to getting one done.
Joe Rodon, Joe Rothwell, Alex Cairns and Jayden Bogle have all moved to Elland Road this summer but the loss of key men such as Crysencio Summerville, Archie Gray and Glen Kamara means there is still work to do.
Speaking while out in Germany for Leeds’ pre-season tour, Farke earmarked both central midfield and full-back as the positions he feels is light.
However, following Summerville’s move to West Ham United last weekend, the push for a new winger has also intensified in the last few days.

Leeds ‘getting closer’ to meeting Jonathan Rowe valuation
Leeds put plans in place earlier in the summer for the eventuality of Summerville leaving, and this week they have been putting those into action.
Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe are the two who have emerged as Leeds’ top targets, though the former is set for Sheffield United.
Having said that, Leeds have been focusing predominantly on striking a deal with Norwich City for Rowe, and according to Sky Sports, it is moving closer.
It is said negotiations are still ongoing between the two clubs, though no official offer has yet been placed by Leeds.
Talks had started at around the £7 million mark but Leeds have reportedly told Norwich they are willing to increase the amount they will pay.
Leeds will have to move quickly, however, with clubs from the Premier League and abroad still interested in Rowe.

What is Norwich’s valuation for Rowe
It is believed that Norwich value Rowe in the region of between £15m-£20m, though his contract situation means it is likely to be closer to the former.
Rowe has just 12 months remaining on his current deal at Carrow Road, and so Norwich face a big decision on his future after just selling Gabriel Sara.
The 21-year-old has previously spoken of his admiration for the home crowd at Elland Road and so it will be interesting to see if this is a move he is genuinely willing to make.
