Leeds United are close to completing the signing of Tottenham Hotspur defender Joe Rodon on a season-long-loan.
That is according to Daily Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath, who broke the story on his personal Twitter account last night, reporting that a deal has been agreed between the two clubs.
McGrath claims just the formalities need completing to officially finalise the move and hopefully he will be able to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s game at Birmingham City.
Rodon would become Leeds‘ fourth signing of the summer, following his Welsh international teammate Ethan Ampadu through the door, as well as Karl Darlow and Sam Byram.
Centre-back has been an area of priority in the last week or two of the window and it appears as though Daniel Farke could finally be about to get his man.

Rodon has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham in recent years and he will be looking to rediscover the form that saw him earn his big move from Swansea City.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Rennes, where he made 22 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal.
As mentioned, he will become the third full Wales international to be playing at Elland Road this season, with Ampadu and Dan James also set to be apart of the squad.
Rodon has already proven what a good Championship defender he is earlier in his career at Swansea and with Liam Cooper set to miss the next eight weeks, will play a big role.
Farke’s options at centre-back had started to look a little light following Cooper’s injury, but Rodon’s arrival will help beef that area of the field up.
