Italian outlet TMW claim the agent of Willy Gnonto has travelled to London today in order to strike a deal with Everton over a move for the Leeds United star – The Toffees are trying ‘in every way’ to get him in.
Gnonto, 19, remains at Elland Road after a tumultuous summer in which he refused to play for the club in games against Shrewsbury, Birmingham City and West Brom. He returned in the 4-3 win over Ipswich.
Leeds may have felt that they had done enough to keep Gnonto at Leeds, until at least, January. But as deadline day takes shape, Sky Sports reported that talks between Everton and Leeds had restarted.
Now, TMW say sources have informed them that Gnonto’s agent has travelled to the Capital in order to thrash out a move for the Italy star. The report says ‘news is expected today’ over a move to Everton.

Agent of Gnonto travels to London today to strike Everton deal
Well, just as Leeds looked as though they would be keeping the Italian teenager – it looks as if he could be off to Everton after all. If Gnonto does go, at least he has returned and started playing for us again.
What is interesting, is that Leeds have rejected numerous offers. Football Transfers claim that Everton are willing to meet our price – though, the fee is not detailed. It seems Everton have compromised.
Everton are about to receive £22m for Alex Iwobi – and that could help them get a deal over the line for Gnonto. But it does come as a surprise that at this late stage, after a summer-long saga, he could go.
