Leeds United target Edouard Michut has been left out of Paris Saint German’s pre-season tour of Japan.
The Ligue 1 champions announced their squad for the trip last night with Michut, along with Kylian Mbappe, among the names left out.
Mbappe has now been put up for sale by PSG with just a year left on his deal, and given the speculation surrounding the future of Michut, it could also hint a transfer is in the pipeline.
It became apparent earlier this week that Michut does not feature in new manager Luis Enrique’s plans, with Leeds among the sides said to be keen.
Fabrizio Romano was the first to report of Leeds’ interest, stating that a deal will hinge on the ‘conditions’ decided by PSG in the ‘coming days.’

Amid Leeds‘ interest, Michut’s exile from the tour of Japan could be a huge sign that the deal has progressed this week.
Romano reported on Wednesday that the next few days would prove important to a deal being completed, and while there has been no update since, this latest development could be telling.
Leeds are in need of bolstering their midfield options this summer having so far lost Weston McKennie, Adam Forshaw and Marc Roca.
Ethan Ampadu has arrived through the door at Elland Road but Leeds will certainly require more in that area, with Michut among the possible targets.
Michut is said to be a high quality player in possession and so would fit the style of football Daniel Farke is looking to implemenet.
