French website Canal Supporters say Edouard Michut is not a part of Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique’s plans and that he will not last long in PSG training this summer – amid reports that Leeds are interested in Michut.
The 20-year-old has returned to PSG this summer after a season-long loan at Sunderland in the Championship. He played 28 times in all competitions alongside Jack Clarke and Joe Gelhardt. He rejected a £2.2m permanent move.
Fabrizio Romano reported in an exclusive on Twitter last night that Leeds are one of a number of clubs looking to sign the Frenchman. Leeds need midfielders, and have brought in Ethan Ampadu for an initial £7m fee from Chelsea.
Tyler Adams could stay, but Marc Roca, Weston McKennie and Adam Forshaw have all gone. So, as things stand, Michut has gone back to PSG. But the latest report states he is not a part of Enrique’s plans, and will not last long.

Michut would be a solid signing. A talented youngster that is clearly good enough to break into PSG’s senior side, playing eight times for the Ligue 1 champions. The midfielder is excellent on the ball, and available for a small price.
But do Leeds need Michut? Yes, Forshaw, Roca and McKennie are gone. Adams could join them, and if so, Ampadu is a decent replacement. But signing Michut would surely stunt the progression of Darko Gyabi into the starting XI.
Even, Archie Gray. Gyabi and Gray have serious talent, probably similar levels to Michut – so why sign a player at a similar stage in his career? Better spending money on a more-proven, experienced Championship midfielder.
