Largie Ramazani got his first minutes on the pitch in over a month during Leeds United’s 3-0 win over Luton Town.
Ramazani was brought on as a late sub just six minutes before the end and looked pretty electric considering he wasn’t on for that long, and had missed the last five matches with ankle ligament damage.
The 23-year-old joins a crop of four wingers who are all in real form right now, leaving Daniel Farke with some tough calls ahead as to who misses out.
Manor Solomon’s two goals at Swansea City have given him real confidence, while Dan James now has a goal and three assists since the international break. Wilfried Gnonto also looked sharp against Luton after his dramatic late winner on Sunday.
Such is the quality of Leeds’ four wingers, Neil Redfearn claimed they are all Premier League level following last night’s victory.
Ramazani sends Josuha Guilavogui message after Leeds win
Despite all of the attacking talent Ramazani is competing against, it was actually a post-match message to Josuha Guilavogui which caught the eye.
Guilavogui was brought on alongside Ramazani against Luton for his fourth appearance since moving to Elland Road.
While Guilavogui’s minutes have so far been limited, he has made a big impression among his teammates in the dressing room and it is clear it has not taken him long to settle.
Guilavogui delivered a pre-match speech prior to Leeds‘ win over Swansea and although that sort of leadership is what he’s been brought for, his on pitch impact shouldn’t be forgotten.
Particularly against QPR, Guilavogui was able to showcase some of his ability and after his latest appearance last night, he posted a great message to supporters on Instagram.
He wrote: “Tonight, it was more than three points. Marching On Together.”
That caption is likely to have stemmed from one of the photos he shared within his post, which was of Leeds’ big screen when Gary Speed was projected onto it in the 11th minute. It’s clear he just gets it.
And Leeds teammate Ramazani had a simple message for Guilavogui after his latest cameo, labelling him as a ‘tank’.

Guilavogui is clearly loving every minute at Elland Road and his determination to get a Championship promotion on his CV is obvious.
And he knows exactly what Leeds need to do in order to secure their Premier League return, which is why he delivered such a speech before Swansea.
He said: “We have to improve our game away because at home we are really, really strong. We are really dominant and even the teams coming to Elland Road, they’re afraid of us, afraid of our fans.”
