Largie Ramazani blown away by one of Leeds United’s new signings, ‘from the minute I trained with him’

All six of Leeds United’s new signings will need time to settle before the Premier League season begins.

Fans got their first glimpses of five of these stars, with Anton Stach likely to play in Leeds’ behind-closed-doors friendlies in Germany.

Similar environments for Stach, so when the new season begins, that’s where fans can give their judgment on how well the 49ers have truly done.

The fun hasn’t stopped yet, as many more signings are expected, with Largie Ramazani not fazed by Igor Paixao’s potential arrival.

But despite Ramazani’s position under threat, he has thoroughly enjoyed playing with one of Leeds’ signings so far.

Largie Ramazani blown away by new Leeds United signing

To have only spent just over £60m on six new arrivals is impressive work, and the 49ers are winning this transfer window right now.

With potentially four more still to come through the door, Daniel Farke has more than enough at his disposal if more key areas get covered.

A new winger coming in doesn’t bode well for Ramazani, but Paixao has got ‘everything’ and it would be a serious statement.

But Ramazani has also shown his class in his first year at Elland Road, and with Gabriel Gudmundsson on that left flank with him, he could only get better.

This is what the Belgian winger thinks anyway, as speaking to Leeds Live after Ramazani and Gudmundsson got their first minutes together, the 24-year-old sees it as a match made in heaven, whilst comparing him to a former Leeds star.

“I was very comfortable. I think we clicked from the start,” Ramazani said.

“From the minute I trained with him on the first day, he understood what type of player I am, and I understood what type of player he is.

“Is he similar to Junior Firpo? Yeah. They’re both attacking good full-backs. Both aggressive.”

Gudmundsson showed signs vs Man United that fit Farke’s Leeds strategy

The Swede played the second 45 against Man United, and Ramazani clearly loved working with him down that left flank.

It could be a connection continuously explored throughout the season, as Gudmundsson’s attacking intent going up and down on the left no doubt replaces Firpo.

Farke loves attacking full-backs, and that’s what was seen through Firpo and Jayden Bogle last season, as Ramazani can see the Swede flourishing in Farke’s system.

A 100% crossing accuracy, overlapping runs, and providing a threat against Ruben Amorim’s side already explains that the 26-year-old is set to thrive.
