It was another dominant display from Leeds United on Saturday afternoon as Daniel Farke’s men eased past Plymouth Argyle, with a number of Leeds stars in excellent form.
Joel Piroe netted his fifth goal of the season and remains top of the Leeds goalscoring charts, while Dan James was back to his best after injury. Junior Firpo was very impressed by Pascal Struijk’s consistency.
Neil Redfearn thought Joe Rothwell was the best player on the pitch, while Ao Tanaka’s run in the side continues to pay dividends with the Japan star earning Leeds’ man of the match vote among fans again.
But another that impressed again was the improving Brenden Aaronson. Stuart Dallas waxed lyrical about Aaronson ahead of the game, declaring himself delighted Aaronson has returned to the Leeds fold.

Brenden Aaronson posts on Instagram after scoring again
The USA star scored his second goal in three games for Leeds with a composed left-footed finish from close range. Simon Grayson was concerned about Aaronson’s end product, but he’s proving that wrong.
Aaronson declared himself happy at Leeds and feels the warmth of the Leeds fans after the game despite it being “tough” to begin with following his Union Berlin loan. He posted on Instagram on Monday.
His caption simply read: “Another +3”.
Junior Firpo has new Aaronson nickname, Archie Gray impressed
Not only was Firpo full of praise for Struijk after an eighth clean sheet in 13 appearances for Leeds, but he has a new nickname for Aaronson – suggesting he is playing like a player of Brazilian origin: “Brendinho”.

Others also replied, including Tottenham star Archie Gray who simply posted a heart eyes emoji. Others including Harry Gray, Joel Piroe and Struijk also commented on Aaronson’s Instagram post on Monday.
