Sheffield United leapfrogged Leeds United on Tuesday night to go top of the Championship table, after Leeds had gone top after Wilfried Gnonto’s winner against Swansea City.
But with Leeds in action on Wednesday night at Elland Road against Luton, Sheffield United had the chance to go top again if they could beat Oxford United at Bramall Lane and they did just that, a 3-0 win.
Sunderland and Burnley were also in action. The latter also picked up a clean sheet and a win, with a solid 2-0 victory over Coventry City, who are still yet to appoint a manager. Frank Lampard is in Coventry talks.
Regis Le Bris’ Sunerland though, had drawn their last four games throughout November with injuries and suspension ravaging his side. On Tuesday night, West Brom held Sunderland to another draw, ending 0-0.

Josuha Guilavogui says Sheffield United are no better than Leeds
The French midfielder was handed his third outing on Sunday since joining Leeds on a free, coming off the bench as the Yorkshire side secured a late win when Wilfried Gnonto netted in the 91st minute.
Guilavogui was discussing Leeds’ aim of promotion and how The Whites will achieve that. Guilavogui said Leeds need to improve away form – before comparing Leeds to Sheffield United, speaking to Leeds Live.
“Sheffield United, they are not better than us, but they manage to win. They won in Bristol and we only drew there. We have to improve and maybe us, as experienced players, [need] to give some advice.”
Leeds and Sheffield United incredibly similar at this stage
Leeds of course, did beat Sheffield United at Elland Road this season – ending the Blades’ unbeaten start to the campaign. Pascal Struijk and Mateo Joseph scored to down Chris Wilder’s side, winning 2-0.
