Jaidon Anthony has posted for the first time since his loan move to Leeds United from Bournemouth.

Anthony sent a four-word message to Leeds supporters on his Instagram story after a crazy night that saw him seal his switch after the 11pm deadline.

A deal was done so late, Anthony was not even able to travel up to Leeds to complete his switch, with Fabrizio Romano reporting this morning that he would be making the trip today.

In fact, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Anthony had been at Bournemouth’s team hotel in London ahead of their match with Brentford.

It is also said that Anthony had been on Leeds’ radar throughout the summer, and so when Bournemouth made their move to sign Luis Sinisterra, he was the man they chose as the Colombian’s replacement.

Writing on his Instagram story earlier this morning, Anthony posted the message, ‘let’s get to work’, as he aims for the second Championship promotion of his career.

The 23-year-old had clearly been a big part of Andoni Iraola’s plans at Bournemouth until interest in Sinisterra arose, starting two of their three Premier League matches this season.

He also has a decent record at this level having scored eight goals and provided seven assists when they were promoted back in the 2021/22 campaign.

While losing Sinisterra so late was disappointing, the arrival of Anthony has softened the blow a tad and will be another quality wide option alongside Wilfried Gnonto, Crysencio Summerville and Dan James.

Anthony will be unavailable to make his debut this afternoon, but will be in contention after the international break.
