The final day of the season is finally here and Leeds United can be crowned Championship champions with a victory over Plymouth Argyle.
It’s been a long and gruelling campaign for Leeds United but it finally reaches its conclusion this weekend.
Daniel Farke’s side secured the all-important Premier League promotion on Easter Monday and now have the Championship title in their sights.
The race for the trophy has gone to the final day, with Burnley still matching Leeds every step of the way.
Both sides sit on 97 points and will finish on 100 each should they both win on Saturday, however, Leeds’ vastly superior goal difference means they will clinch the title in that event.
As long as the Whites don’t slip up against the all-but-relegated Plymouth, then they will have a piece of silverware to show off during Monday’s open-top bus parade.
Here’s everything you need to know about the fixture.

Plymouth Argyle vs Leeds United kick-off time
As with all 12 games on the final day of the season, Leeds’ away game against Plymouth will kick off at 12:30 pm on Saturday, May 3.

Plymouth vs Leeds United team news
There’s good news and bad news on the injury front for Leeds.
The good news is that Joe Rothwell has returned to training and is likely to be involved against Plymouth in what could be his final game for the club.
The bad news, however, is that Dan James still hasn’t returned to training and Junior Firpo is now dealing with hamstring issues as well. Isaac Schmidt is also still struggling after missing Monday’s game.
All three still have a chance to play in the final game but the chances are looking slim.
Farke said in his pre-match press conference: “Firpo has some light hamstring problems after the last game and it will be a tight call. He has not been able to train, he could train tomorrow.
“Dan James has slightly improved, but also today, no team training. If he is in team training tomorrow, of course, he will travel with us tomorrow due to his importance. But another tight race for him.
“Isaac Schmidt had knee problems and it has not settled. There is still a chance, but it will be a tight call. Good news with Joe Rothwell, he can train today with us – he won’t be able to play for 90 minutes.”

Prediction
There is always the fear that Leeds will crumble under high pressure but there seems to be little sign of that in April.
Leeds knew they would basically hand the title to Burnley if they didn’t defeat Play-off chasing Bristol City last Monday but wiped the floor with a team sitting in 5th.
Due to goal difference, Plymouth are basically relegated already, so Leeds should have no trouble in giving their travelling fans one last goal feast to secure the title.
Prediction: Plymouth 0-3 Leeds United.
