Crysencio Summerville netted his 11th goal of the season in Leeds United’s 4-0 win over Ipswich Town this afternoon.

Summerville converted from the spot on the stroke of half-time to put Leeds 3-0 ahead having been fouled himself inside the area by former Whites defender Leif Davis.

The 22-year-old was electric all afternoon, playing a key role in Leeds’ first three goals, but it was one of his attacking teammates who was handed the man of the match by Sky Sports.

Georginio Rutter was the man handed the award after the game having produced an impressive performance leading the line, holding the ball up and linking the play.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Summerville says Rutter is a player he absolutely loves playing alongside due to the chemistry they have when playing together on the pitch.

He said: “Georgi is formidable, he’s the best and I like to play with him. He is creative like me, we feel each other and have a good connection. I am very happy with our connection.”

Rutter must be a joy to play with for those around him as his passing and dribbling just creates so much space for the likes of Summerville to go and shine.

No player in the Championship has more assists than Rutter and over half of them have come for Summerville, who has already scored 11 goals himself.

Rutter’s creative numbers blow everyone else in the division out of the water and when both he and Summerville are on song, Leeds’ attack is simply ‘unplayable’ at this level.

The two players both also share a good relationship off the pitch and Summerville has already spoken about how happy he is to see Rutter doing well after a tough start to his Leeds career.
