Dan James is currently out injured and has been speaking to the media as he waits for his Leeds United teammates to return from the international break, ahead of Burnley next Saturday
James missed the last fixture which saw The Whites beat Hull due to a hamstring injury. It was just a few days after his first goal of the season, chipping the keeper to score Leeds‘ second at Sheffield Wednesday.
James’ absence has been softened by the signing of two of his former teammates in Manor Solomon and Largie Ramazani, where he played alongside at Fulham and Manchester United earlier on in his career.
He is fighting a race against time to be fit to face Burnley on Saturday night having pulled out of the Wales squad to face Turkey and Montenegro with Charlie Crew, Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon and Karl Darlow.

James shares what Daniel Farke is like in Leeds training
Farke is not just a head coach, but a manager. He is the face of Leeds, having the final say on everything that happens and that is crucial these days when there are so many other positions within a football club.
What is apparent, is Farke’s relaxed manner in front of the media. A body language that reassures Leeds fans everything is under control, but James told the Second Tier podcast it is different in Leeds training.
“He is a laid-back guy but when things are serious, when things get down to business you’ve got to be that serious. You don’t perform like we do if you come in feeling laid back. He does have that about him.”

If James is missing, who starts for Leeds against Burnley?
It will be interesting to see who plays out wide for Leeds when The Whites face Burnley. The issues are beginning to arise with Brenden Aaronson facing Mexico on Wednesday, before Burnley on Saturday.
Even if he doesn’t start, it is a quick turnaround and jet lag will be an issue. Solomon lasted 80 minutes of Israel’s loss to Belgium and will start against Italy next week, while Wilfried Gnonto is with Italy’s U21’s.
If Aaronson is still fatigued, James injured and Solomon requiring a bit of rest having only made his first appearance in a year against Hull, it might mean a debut for Ramazani when Leeds take on Burnley.
