The Yorkshire Evening Post’s Graham Smyth has replied to a Leeds United fan on Thursday night when asked if the club are signing Rangers star Glen Kamara – and he said the Whites are being indecisive.
While the 49ers have made moves to sign Joel Piroe and the likely deal for Nadiem Amiri – the club still need another midfielder and probably a left-back. Even possible, a new winger if a current option goes.

Dean Jones told Give Me Sport on Thursday – before the announcement of Piroe – that we were closing in on moves for Piroe, Amiri and Genk winger Joseph Paintsil. The lattes seems slightly more unlikely.
But Jones also reported that the club are readying a move for Finland star Kamara. It comes after the Scottish Sun said Leeds were on the verge of a £5.5m deal. But Smyth has shared the latest, to a fan.
Smyth replies to Leeds fan when asked if club are signing Kamara
Leeds need a midfielder. Yes, we have brought in Piroe and Amiri looks set to be the next arrival. Those two additions sort out two major positions that required strengthening. But central midfield does, too.
Compared to last season, we have lost Adam Forshaw, Tyler Adams, Marc Roca and Weston McKennie. We have signed one midfielder, Ethan Ampadu. It has seen Archie Gray and Darko Gyabi promoted.

Lew Bate and Jamie Shackleton are options. But Leeds need more proven quality than that. A player with 52 caps for Finland, a Europa League final, nearly 200 games for Rangers. A bargain at £5.5m.
But it will have to be one to watch. Whether or not Leeds will make a move, with the priority currently getting Amiri in – and then, possible a left-sided defender. An exciting few more days left this summer.
